Dogs are adored and loved by most people because of their cute faces and friendly character. However, there is more to our canine pals than their beautiful and gentle looks. They always have our backs, and this heroic story of a dog who saved her owner’s life who was milliseconds away from danger will indeed prove my point.
Betzi is a family dog and loved deeply by Mark and his family. They considered Betzi an important part of their family, and wherever they go, Betzi is always there with them. The best thing about Betzi is that she is very keen on sensing danger.
It was a calm, sunny, and regular evening for Mark. He had a long day and decided to take Betzi with him for an evening walk. As they enjoyed the quiet and calm evening, he heard a strange sound from a tree.
It was an unusual sound, and he decided to check it out. He was not frightened, thinking that the sound maybe just because of a squirrel or a cat. To his dismay, he didn’t find anything. It felt kind of weird on Mark’s end because a small branch had fallen from the tree.
Out of the blue, Betzi courageous pulled Mark away from the tree and dragged him to the sidelines. Little did he know that he was milliseconds away from being hit by a big fallen tree. A colossal tree just fell and came crashing down on the same spot where Mark was standing. The impact caused by the fallen tree was so strong that it destroyed a wall.
Mark was stunned by what just happened right in front of him. Betzi was his life-saver. He realized that he could truly count on his canine pal. He was shocked by the incident, but he admitted he wasn’t surprised at all.
He shared that it wasn’t the first time that Betzi saved his life. There was a time that a gang was about to trespass and crowbar his front door to find car keys. Betzi was fast in noticing the trespassers and immediately chased them.
Indeed, when it comes to danger, Betzi is very well familiar with red flags. She is a brave dog, and Mark and his family feel very lucky and blessed to have Betzi.
